Browsing Listings on the Marketplace
The Bizzy marketplace lets you browse businesses for sale using an interactive split-view layout with a map and list side by side.
From the Bizzy homepage, choose Browse businesses, or use Browse in the navigation, to open the marketplace. You do not need an account to explore public listings. The Bizzy logo returns to the homepage; signing in still opens the marketplace.
Map and List View
- Map view — See listings plotted as markers on an interactive map. Clustered markers show a count — zoom in to see individual businesses
- List view — Browse listings in a scrollable card layout alongside the map. Cards show the business name, asking price, revenue, and cash flow; open a listing for category and location details
- Sort results — Use the dropdown beside Marketplace results to sort by recently posted, asking price, cash flow, or revenue. On narrow screens, the dropdown wraps below the heading
- Automatic filtering — The list updates automatically as you pan and zoom the map, showing only businesses visible in the current map area
Interactive maps require a current browser with WebGL2 graphics support enabled. If the map cannot load, try updating your browser or enabling hardware acceleration; you can still browse businesses in the list.
What Map Pins Mean
Exact locations appear as points. Approximate locations appear as seller-selected 2, 5, 10, or 25-mile circles centered on a shifted public location rather than an exact-looking business point. The circle size is informational and does not change marketplace distance filtering. Listings shared as General market area remain available in the list but do not publish map geometry. Open a listing to see its public city/state and location disclosure.
Listings include a location label such as Approximate public location, Exact public location, or General market area so you know what the seller chose to disclose. If the exact location matters to your diligence, confirm it with the seller before visiting or making decisions based on a pin or location label.
Representation Disclosure
A seller-declared represented listing shows Listed on behalf of the business owner on its marketplace card, map popup, and listing preview. This identifies how the seller says they manage the listing; it does not claim a license or certify a brokerage relationship. See Representing a Business Owner for the seller workflow and Saved Businesses for where the disclosure remains visible after you save a listing.
Location and Search
- Starting area — First-time visits start in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Bizzy does not request your browser's precise location
- Location search — Use the search bar to jump to a specific city, state, or area, or move the map to choose an area yourself
- Remembered search — Bizzy remembers your last applied marketplace search in this browser, including filters and map area, so a later visit can pick up where you left off. An explicit bookmarked or shared search link takes priority
- Search radius — Distance filters are measured from the center of the current search area, not from your physical location
- Reset search — Use Reset search to clear the remembered search and return to Dallas-Fort Worth
- Filters — Narrow results by price range, search area, and industry type
Viewing a Listing
Select any listing card or map marker to open the full listing detail page. From there you can:
- View business details, financials, photos, and seller-reported Areas served when provided. Areas served is informational and does not change the business location or marketplace distance filters
- Expand public Financial insights estimates and tune how the estimate badges are rated without signing in. Signed-out settings stay in this browser across reloads; buyer-account settings are saved to the account
- After NDA access, review clearly labeled seller-reported financing, transition, current owner involvement, and records available behind NDA. Record labels indicate availability; they do not mean the records were publicly uploaded or verified by Bizzy
- Sign an NDA to request structured confidential details and seller-managed external diligence links when required
- Contact the seller through secure messaging
- Save the business
Saving Businesses
Select the heart icon on any listing to save it. Open Saved businesses to review saved businesses, buyer-profile guidance, and confidential access.
