Why Passkey-Only Authentication?

Bizzy currently uses passkeys for public-account authentication. A passkey replaces a password and can be saved by a device, password manager, or hardware security key.

Benefits

  • Phishing resistant — A passkey is tied to Bizzy's domain.
  • No password to remember — Your device or passkey manager handles the credential.
  • Strong device verification — Sign-in normally requires a device screen lock such as a biometric or PIN.
  • No credential stuffing — There is no reusable public-account password for attackers to guess or reuse.

Why Bizzy Still Collects Email

Bizzy uses the immutable email chosen at registration for account notices, verification, and verification-gated features such as Premium. It is not a public login credential or self-service passkey reset method. For sellers, there is no separate business-email field: after verification and explicit consent, that account email can appear publicly as the seller contact email on published listings.

Current Alternatives

Bizzy does not currently offer public email/password, email-code, Google, Apple, or Microsoft login. Admin-created test accounts use a separate restricted password flow. Add a backup passkey from Settings, then Security because losing every passkey has no self-service recovery path today.
