Setting Up Your Profile

Your profile is how other users see you on the platform. A complete profile helps build trust with buyers and sellers.

Accessing Your Profile

Go to Settings for account and security settings. Set buyer preferences from Home → Buying preferences. Sellers can manage their public contact profile from Home → Seller Profile.

Profile Sections

• Account — Update your legal name, username, and avatar photo in Settings
• Buying preferences — Manage your budget, target industries, locations, and other buyer matching inputs from Home
• Seller Profile — Manage your seller display name, phone number, location, and geographic focus from Home
• Security — Manage your passkeys and login credentials in Settings

What to Set Up First

• Full name — This helps Bizzy keep your account identity complete
• Buying preferences — This helps sellers with matching businesses find you
• Seller display name — This is shown on public profiles instead of your username
• Avatar — Upload a professional photo. Your avatar appears in the navbar and on your listings

Roles

By default, new accounts have Buyer and Seller roles. Additional roles, such as Reviewer, can only be assigned by administrators. Your current roles are visible in your profile.

Privacy

Your username is never shown to other users — it's a private login credential. Other customers see your display name and avatar where profile information appears.
