Creating Your Account

Signing up for Bizzy starts with your email, then uses a passkey instead of a password.

Steps

  1. Click Login in the navbar
  2. Select Create account
  3. Enter the email address you want to keep with this account
  4. Select the passkey button and create a passkey when prompted by your browser or device
  5. Add your required first and last name. This is the name other members see on Bizzy. Organization, role or title, and where you heard about Bizzy are optional; the form explains how Organization is used
  6. Press Create account

Bizzy confirms that your account is ready and opens the marketplace. There is no starting-focus question: Buying and Selling are both always available from the navigation, so you can browse businesses, set buyer preferences, or create your first listing in whichever order suits you. Your profile photo and organization logo are optional and live in Settings, then Public profile.

What Happens During Sign-Up

Your passkey is your secure login credential. It replaces traditional passwords, and the passkey prompt appears after you select the passkey button. If you cancel passkey enrollment, your account stays pending and you can try again. If you already created a passkey but have not finished the profile step, returning to Create account resumes that final step. To restart with a different email, select Use a different email; this signs out of the pending signup, while signing in again with the original email and passkey resumes it later.

After you finish the profile step, Bizzy may send a welcome email with links to browse businesses and review account security. When value estimates are available, the welcome email may also include a link to that feature. This is separate from email verification.

Email verification is not required for normal account creation. Your account email is immutable, so choose it carefully: Bizzy cannot update, merge, or transfer it later. You can verify that account email from Settings, and Bizzy will ask you to verify before Premium starts. Before publishing a listing, you must also explicitly consent to show the verified account email publicly as your seller contact email.

Email Address Rules

Bizzy checks email format before signup and before sending a verification email. The address must be a real email format, cannot use Bizzy's reserved placeholder domain, and cannot have malformed dots or domain labels.

Bizzy keeps valid address characters such as dots, dashes, underscores, and plus signs as part of your saved email address. If the address is malformed, the form shows an error before it can be saved or used for verification.

Your Default Roles

New accounts automatically receive both Buyer and Seller roles. This means you can browse and save listings and create your own listings right away — no additional setup needed.
