Sending Messages to Buyers and Sellers
The Bizzy messaging system lets you communicate securely with other users on the platform.
How to Start a Conversation
- Go to any listing page and click Contact Seller
- Write your message in the compose box
- Click Send
- The recipient receives a notification in their notification bell
Note: If the listing requires an NDA, you must sign it before the Contact Seller button becomes available.
Viewing Your Messages
All your conversations are available on the Messages page, accessible from the navbar. Conversations are organized by listing, so you can easily track discussions about specific businesses.
Leaving a Conversation
Open a conversation and click Leave conversation if you no longer want it in your inbox. Leaving removes the conversation from your Messages page. The other participant can still read the prior message history, but the thread is closed to new replies.
Messaging Tips
- Keep all conversations on-platform for security and record-keeping
- Be clear and specific about your interests or questions
- Respond promptly to maintain momentum in negotiations
- Never share personal contact information until you've established trust through the platform
- Reference specific details from the listing to show you've done your research
