Creating a New Listing

Create a private draft first, then publish when the required details and account requirements are ready.

Steps to Create a Listing

  1. Select Selling in the main navigation, then New listing.
  2. Enter a headline and any details you already have. Click or tap the image area in Listing photo to upload while writing the draft—there is no need to save first. Click the preview again to replace the image. Select Save draft, or Save and continue if available. An incomplete draft remains private.
  3. Complete Basics, Financials, Location, and Listing photo; the green border guides you to the next required section. Sale details and Sale Readiness are optional but highly recommended, and Areas served is highly recommended for service businesses. Every section can be hidden so you can choose your focus. Required sections start open; hiding them keeps your entered values and does not change what is required to publish. Validation reopens sections with errors. Click anywhere on a collapsed section to open it. To close it, click its heading area, including the whitespace above the title; the Show/Hide indicator shows its state. NDA and confidential-diligence settings become available after the first save.
  4. If publishing is blocked because details are incomplete, select Save and check details. Bizzy highlights every field that needs attention and moves focus to the first one. This saves privately; it does not publish the listing.
  5. When Publish listing appears, review the mandatory public preview and confirm publication. Buyers can find the listing as soon as publication succeeds.

The Selling overview shows how many account-owned listing slots are currently in use. Listings shared with you as a collaborator remain separate and do not count toward that total.

Draft creation and saving are free. Publication availability is feature-controlled: when immediate publication is unavailable, you can keep saving a private draft; existing published listings stay public and the accountable owner can still unpublish. Premium is $0/mo during beta, no payment method is required, and the planned standard price is $299/mo after beta with clear notice before paid billing starts. When publication is available, the server checks an active account, seller role and listing ownership or collaborator eligibility, the accountable owner's active Premium, a complete Seller Profile, the verified immutable account email with consent to show it as the public seller contact, strict listing validation, a verified listing location, any referenced media, and no moderation hold. A successfully uploaded header photo is required before publication. Missing or unavailable images block publication, but you can still save an incomplete private draft. Upload JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF files up to 5 MB. The optional professional profile—introduction, avatar, and city/state—appears only when its separate consent is active.

NDA & Confidential Diligence

To activate a Bizzy platform NDA, provide a non-empty business name and jurisdiction. Bizzy uses them in the agreement's party and governing-law clauses. A signing form binds the NDA version and duration the buyer reviewed; if terms change, stale forms must be refreshed before signing. Re-signs update current access but do not rewrite earlier review-bound signing evidence. Bizzy provides workflow tooling, not legal advice.

Business Location

Search for a street address, business name, city, or ZIP code, then choose a verified US suggestion. The public-location summary is derived from that verified suggestion and your selected privacy mode. If you edit the search text, choose a suggestion again before checking or publishing. If location search is unavailable, save an incomplete private draft and return later.

You can also open the map and click to select a location. Approximate displays an area circle, while Exact displays a draggable pin. You can also focus an Exact pin and move it with the arrow keys, holding Shift for larger steps. A changed location must be reverse-verified before publication; retry if verification fails. Map selections preserve your privacy mode and show a verification status. Interactive maps require a current browser with WebGL2 graphics support enabled. If the map cannot load, use the location search instead or save an incomplete private draft and return later.

Choose what buyers see publicly:

  • Approximate — shows a seller-selected 2, 5, 10, or 25-mile public area centered on a server-protected shifted public location, plus the city/state label.
  • Exact — shows the verified exact pin. Use this when the location is already public or important to the listing.

Areas Served

For service businesses, optionally add up to 20 seller-reported US cities, states, five-digit ZIP codes, or choose Nationwide. Nationwide cannot be combined with another area. Areas served is public listing information, but it does not move the business location, create more map markers, or change marketplace distance filtering.

Representing a Business Owner

Use the Representation checkbox only when you are authorized to manage the listing on the owner's behalf. The listing remains in your Bizzy account; the owner does not receive account access automatically. See Representing a Business Owner for the full workflow.

Publication and Moderation

When the publication feature is enabled and all publication requirements pass, Bizzy does not require routine pre-publication reviewer approval. The listing becomes available to buyers immediately. Published listings remain subject to marketplace policy and human moderation: authorized reviewers can place a hold, request changes, or take a listing down. A hold or takedown can prevent publication or remove a listing from public view.
