Creating a New Listing
List your business for sale on the Bizzy marketplace by following these steps.
Steps to Create a Listing
- Go to your My Dashboard from the profile dropdown
- Click Create New Listing
- Fill in all required fields:
- Business name and industry category
- Business location and asking price
- Revenue and profit information
- A detailed description of the business
- Upload a header image for your listing card
- Save as a draft or submit for review
Draft creation and saving are free. Submitting a listing for review requires Premium. Premium is $0/mo during beta, no payment method is required, and the planned standard price is $200/mo after beta with clear notice before paid billing starts.
Business Location
When you add a location, you can search for a street address, business name, city, or zip code. Bizzy stores the exact location you provide so reviewers and your own seller tools have the best available listing data.
You also choose what buyers see publicly on the marketplace map:
- Approximate — shows a nearby public pin and city/state label. This is the default for most listings.
- Exact — shows the exact public location. Use this when the location is already public or important to the listing, such as a storefront, venue, or real-estate-backed business.
- City only — shows a general market area. This is useful for remote businesses, territories, routes, or situations where the exact address should not be public.
You can adjust the map pin manually. Dragging or clicking the pin switches the listing to exact public location because buyers will see that chosen point.
Document Vault
You can upload sensitive documents to your listing's Document Vault — such as financial statements, tax returns, lease agreements, or inventory lists. Documents in the vault are NDA-gated, meaning buyers must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before they can access them.
Starting from a Valuation
Not sure what price to ask? Use the free Business Valuation Tool first. After getting your estimate, click List This Business on the results page or from a saved valuation in your seller dashboard.
When you start from a valuation, Bizzy can pre-fill parts of your listing, including business name, category, revenue, profit, and asking price. You can review and edit these fields before saving a draft or submitting the listing for review.
If you create a valuation before signing in, sign in or create an account after viewing the results. Bizzy can connect the saved valuation to your account so you can continue creating the listing.
Review Process
All submitted listings are reviewed by our team before going live on the marketplace. This typically takes 1-2 business days. You'll receive a notification when your listing is approved or if revisions are needed.
