Editing Your Listing

You can update listing details at any time. The editor keeps listing details, publishing status, NDA terms, and confidential diligence in one workspace.

How to Edit

  1. Go to My Listings.
  2. Open the listing action menu and choose Edit listing.
  3. Use section navigation to move through the editor. The current or first incomplete required section is highlighted. Every section can be hidden so you can choose your focus. Required sections start open, and section navigation or validation errors reopen the relevant sections. Hiding a section keeps your entered values. Listing photo is required before publishing. Sale details and Sale Readiness are optional but highly recommended; click anywhere on a collapsed section to open it, or click the heading area (including the whitespace above the title) to close it. The Show/Hide indicator shows its state.
  4. Save privately whenever you want to keep working without changing what buyers see.
  5. For an unpublished draft, if Bizzy says listing details need attention, select Save and check details. Every invalid required field is highlighted, and the page moves to the first available issue. The check saves privately and does not publish.
  6. When publication is available, review the public preview and select Publish listing or Publish changes. Changes become available to buyers immediately.

Saving draft edits is free. Publication availability is feature-controlled; while it is unavailable, save privately and try again later. Existing published listings stay public and the accountable owner can still unpublish. When publication is available, the server checks an active account, seller role and listing ownership or collaborator eligibility, the accountable owner's active Premium, a complete Seller Profile, the verified immutable account email with consent to show it publicly, strict listing validation, a verified location, any referenced media, and no moderation hold. A successfully uploaded header photo is required before publication. Missing or unavailable images block publication, but you can still save an incomplete private draft. Premium is $0/mo during beta, no payment method is required, and the planned standard price is $299/mo after beta with clear notice before paid billing starts.

Published Listings

A published listing remains visible while you work on private changes. Unpublish removes it from the marketplace without deleting the listing. When publication is enabled, there is no routine review queue before eligible published changes become public. Published listings and changes remain subject to marketplace policy and human moderation; authorized reviewers can place a hold, request changes, or take a listing down.

Updating the Location

Choose a verified US search suggestion whenever you change the location. Editing the search text clears the previous verification, and a moved map pin must pass reverse verification before publication. If search is unavailable, save the changes as a private draft and return later.

Choose Approximate or Exact. Approximate previews and publishes your selected 2, 5, 10, or 25-mile area circle centered on a shifted public location; Exact uses a draggable pin and publishes the verified point. Existing city-only listings retain their city/state display until you explicitly choose a new mode. The Approximate circle is derived only from the public location, never the private coordinates. Changing its radius does not change marketplace search results.

Areas Served

Use Areas served for the listing's optional public service footprint. Choose up to 20 seller-reported US cities, states, five-digit ZIP codes, or Nationwide; Nationwide cannot be combined with other areas. This is separate from the business location and does not change map or distance-filter behavior.

NDA & Confidential Diligence

The collapsed NDA & confidential diligence section controls the agreement buyers sign, seller-managed external diligence links, and diligence-access review mode for the listing. Activating a Bizzy platform NDA requires a non-empty business name and jurisdiction because those values appear in the party and governing-law clauses. Pending manual-review access requests are handled from Deal Pipeline.

Signing binds the reviewed NDA version and duration. If you change either value, previously opened signing forms are stale and must be refreshed. A re-sign updates current access but does not rewrite earlier review-bound signing evidence. Bizzy provides workflow tooling, not legal advice.

Collaborators

Collaborator access is managed separately from listing details. From My Listings, open the listing's three-dot menu and choose Invite collaborators. You can invite a Premium seller by email, review pending invitations, and revoke existing access there. Collaborators can save listing changes and, in NDA & confidential diligence, activate the standard two-year Bizzy NDA or choose the access-review mode. Only the listing owner can manage custom NDA terms, deactivate the NDA, diligence links, or signed agreements. See Sharing a Listing With a Collaborator for invitation, acceptance, recovery, and suspended-access details.
